Mr. Elrod is a native Oregonian and a graduate of Lewis & Clark College, in Portland, Oregon. He graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and started his insurance career as an agent for Standard Insurance. In 1998 he partnered with another agent to create Bush & Elrod Insurance and in 1998 merged with Nevin, Works & Associates. As an independent producer he represents numerous companies, specializing in group medical, dental, life and disability plans for employers in Oregon and Washington. He is a member of National Association of Health Underwriters and a member of the La Center City Planning Commission where he lives with his wife, Yvette.

Ms. Imel is a native Oregonian with over 23 years of experience in the insurance industry where she has served in varied capacities including sales, claims, management and customer service.  For the past 18 years, Jackie has been affiliated with Great West Healthcare focusing on large group self funding.  Her unique knowledge of the broker/carrier side together with experience in large group sales adds a valuable dynamic to the Employee Benefits team at HRH.  Jackie specializes in group medical, dental, life and disability plans for employers in Oregon and Washington.

Jackie actively supports her family and local community through extensive volunteer work with the Washougal School District and as a contributing member of the Hathaway Boosters for Washougal, WA.

Mr. Miller grew up in Santa Rosa, California. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Simpson College (Redding, CA) and later received his Master’s of Divinity In Communications and Theology from Biola University (La Mirada, CA). He served as a full-time pastor with the Christian & Missionary Alliance for 17 years leading churches in California, Wyoming and Oregon. He has also enjoyed executive level leadership and volunteer participation in numerous local non-profit organizations that provide services in the areas of drunk driving prevention, drug addiction recovery, homelessness, teenage crisis pregnancy intervention and public safety chaplaincy. He began his insurance career in Seattle, Washington with Kibble & Prentice functioning as a small business consultant in the employee benefits division. He now represents numerous companies, specializing in group medical, dental, life and disability plans for employers in Oregon and Washington.

Ms. Opsahl is an agent in the Astoria, Oregon office. She is responsible for sales and service of insurance products on the Oregon Coast. Terri has over 12 years of Human Resource management experience with Georgia Pacific, Wauna Mill, and most recently Ag-Bag International. She has been an agent for Nevin, Works & Associates for the past two years.  She is currently serving as a Director on the Wauna Federal Credit Union Board of Directors and Secretary of the Wauna Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee. She also serves as the President-Elect of the Lower Columbia Human Resource Management Association.

Mr. Quigley has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry. He worked 13 years for Aetna in large group claims administration, and was an independent insurance agent for 4 years before joining Nevin, Works and Associates in 1997. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa and is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, and Oregon Health Underwriters.

Mr. Robbins started in the insurance business in 1995 after completing 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. In 1997 he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Portland State University. Mark has served on the board of Riverbend Youth Center since 2002. He has also been very active through his church and serving in different officer positions since 2000 with the Knights of Columbus. Mark has been a volunteer since 2003 on the landscape committee for Rock Creek Community Association. Furthermore, he is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters.

Trisha Rose has worked in the insurance and financial services industry since 1987, specializing in employee benefits. Serving in varied capacities of the industry, Ms. Rose has experience in customer service, claims, account management and has been a benefits advisor for clients ranging from small groups to larger commercial accounts. Prior to arriving in Alaska, Trisha worked for a national insurance carrier in Phoenix, Arizona for many years as a Commercial Small Group Sales Representative.

Trisha has serviced clients in Juneau, Fairbanks, Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula and many other locations throughout the State with concentration on small business clients and regional and village native corporations.

Trisha is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and is a mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.

A sales and marketing professional with more than 20 years of strategy, sales management and business development experience in the high tech and consumer goods industry, Mr. Healy is responsible for all the program management and marketing activities at thinc. Prior to thinc, Mr. Healy managed all sales and marketing activities at Concero Technology, utilizing his experience gained from developing and managing key partnerships and sales channels for WebTrends/NetIQ and Preview Systems. Previously, Bob managed business development at MeasureCast and Carrier Services, Inc.

Ms. Huling is responsible for the implementation and ongoing sales of new association or affinity group opportunities, as well as, managing partner relations. She has 30 years of group benefits experience, primarily in account management and sales with UNUM and Hartford. For the two years prior to joining thinc, she was responsible for marketing the technology platform for small group customers in Oregon for ConceroGroup.

Ms. Jefferies is a licensed Life & Health Producer and Consultant. She has worked 30 years providing customer service in the financial services industry, the last 20 of which have been in health insurance.   At Nevin Works & Associates, she is responsible for Customer Service, as well as promoting and developing our on-line services and data management.  Suzy is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters.

Ms. Rogers relocated to the Portland area from Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2006 where she accepted the position of Receptionist / Administrative Assistant for NW & Associates.  In 2007, Ms. Rogers was promoted to the position of Account Sales and Service Coordinator assisting agents with account enrollment and service.  She is currently life and health licensed in the State of Oregon and holds an Associates of Arts degree from Manatee Community College in Venice, Florida.

Ms. Rose, a native Oregonian, attended the University of Oregon majoring in Interior Architecture. She began her career in the retail sales division of a major furniture rental and retail company in Portland, Oregon. In 1986, Kelly changed careers and accepted an opportunity in the retail sales and marketing division of a third-party firm marketing the sale of tax-deferred annuities and securities products and continued in the financial services industry with other firms through 1996. After three years working with her husband operating an animation and design studio, Kelly joined Nevin, Works & Associates as the Large Group Service Representative and Operations Manager of the agency. In February of 2003, she became a member of the Company’s Board of Directors and in August of 2005 was named VP of Administration. She is Life and Health licensed since 1991 and is currently a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters. Kelly resides in Portland, Oregon and is married to her husband of 18 years.

Luba Shalduha-Johnson, a member of our licensed call center team, provides customer service and account support for our large group and association clients. With a varied and extensive background in the insurance industry, Ms. Johnson has an expert understanding of employee benefits together with many years of providing outstanding customer service. Fluent in five languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Ukrainian and Russian), Ms. Johnson is licensed in Life and Health.

Ms. Barnes was born and raised in Vancouver, Washington. She attended Clark College and Washington State University, majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. In 1990, she began working for a large corporation in Portland, Oregon as a Tax Accountant. In 1997, she accepted a position in the Internal Auditing Department, eventually becoming an IT Auditor. She continued in the private sector until 2001 and accepted a position with a Certified Public Accounting firm as a Tax Accounting Supervisor. Cindy joined Nevin, Works & Associates in December of 2004 and is now the Manager of Trust and Commissions Accounting.  Cindy lives in Vancouver with her husband and two children.
